RIDE DATE: DECEMBER 13, 2015 | 8:00 AM | SCHUYLERVILLE, NY
SPECIAL HOLIDAY NOTE: If you bring a new toy or food item for us to donate to a local charity or food bank, we will gladly waive your entry fee. Thank you in advance, and Happy Holidays!
Thank you for your interest in the Last Century. This ride is part of the Adirondack Ultra Challenge, and as the name implies, it's our Last Century of the year.
The course will be a rolling figure 8 loop through Saratoga County and will take us along the Hudson River and around Saratoga Lake. There are also easy bailout points at 30 and 54 miles, just in case it's a little too wintery.
Be sure to dress according to the conditions, and if you think you'll take more then 8 hours, you'll also need to bring your lights. This ride will be unsupported on the road, but we'll have snacks, pocket food and drinks at the start, middle and finish, along with Hammer Nutrition gels, drinks and bars to take along with us. To help you prepare, we've created a rider checklist. We'll also have a small selection of lights, batteries, tires, tubes and other merchandise for sale at the start, middle and finish, in case you've forgotten anything.
The ride will be unsupported on the road, but we'll return to the start/finish halfway through to take a break, warm up and restock.
We'll start from our event director's home at: 7 Pearl Street • Schuylerville, NY. This is a residential neighborhood, so please be courteous when arriving and departing. For travel directions and parking instructions, CLICK HERE.
Same day registration will be available beginning one hour before the start, and we're pleased to announce that we now accept credit cards for on-site registration and purchases.
This ride will be held rain or shine, but if there's a chance of snow, ice or other dangerous conditions, it will be postponed and rescheduled. If that occurs, and a pre-registered rider can't make the new date, they'll be given a full refund or credit toward another ride, whichever they prefer. Otherwise, entry fees are non refundable and non transferable.
