CUE SHEET | ENTRY FORM | BIKE REG

SPECIAL NOTES:

If you intend to use this brevet to qualify for a 1200 KM randonnée, you must be a member of RUSA starting with the first brevet you're going to use as a qualifier. If you need to renew your membership or join as a new member, you may do so at any of our brevets.

The date is tentative and must be officially approved by RUSA in the fall. We don't expect any problems, but if it changes and a pre-registered rider can not make the new date, they will be given a full refund or credit towards another Adirondack Ultra Cycling event, whichever they prefer. Otherwise, all entries are non refundable and non transferable.

BREVET DETAILS:

Thank you for your interest in the 200 KM Brevet. This ride is part of the Saratoga Brevet Series and is sanctioned by Audax Club Parisien and Randonneurs USA. We will follow their rules and regulations.

Our usual route is a rolling loop through scenic Saratoga County, around the Great Sacandaga Lake and along the Hudson River, where we pass through Northville, Hadley, Lake Luzerne, Corinth, Porter Corners, Wilton and South Glens Falls before returning to Schuylerville.

Because 2011 is a PBP year, we may celebrate by creating a new route. Watch this space for more information.

Whatever route we use, be sure to dress according to the conditions, which can be tricky in late March. And, if you think you'll take more then 12 hours, you'll also need to bring your lights. To view our rider checklist, which has our minimum lighting requirements, click here.

This ride will be unsupported on the road, but services will be available at most controls. We'll have food at the start and finish, along with Hammer Nutrition gels, drinks and bars to take along with us. We'll also have a small selection of lights, batteries, tires, tubes and other merchandise for sale at the start.

We'll most likey start from the regional brevet manager's home at: 7 Pearl Street, Schuylerville, NY, or another location close by.  The regional brevet manager lives in a residential neighborhood, so if we use his home as the start, please be courteous when arriving and departing.
